Meet The

Jet Streamer

Part STEM learning tool. Part joy maker. 100% kid (and adult) approved.

Built specifically for the curious minds at a local nursery school, this machine turns the invisible power of air into a tangible playground. Watching these little learners explore airflow, gravity, and the sheer chaos of a scarf storm is exactly what made this project so rewarding. 💛

Key features include:

🌀 Kinetic Learning: Understanding force and motion through tactile experience.

🤝 Collaborative Play: Encouraging students to predict and observe together while sharing materials.

🛠️ Custom Design: Built for durability and safety in a high-energy environment. Made from natural, solid (and local!) hardwoods

It’s a privilege to contribute to the local educational environment by creating tools that make "learning by doing" a daily, exciting experience!

We’re now working on the construction of another for a second location!

Check out this dusty fellow trying to keep my dog happy 😂 Nova decided she fits in one exact spot next to the bed (dog logic), so I’ve been living the no-bedside-table life for a while now 🐾 To solve the crisis, we brainstormed a sleek bedside light & storage combo, and Dereck knocked out this quick prototype to bring the vision to life! (P.S. It was incredibly special to see the community line the main drag, catching up with neighbors and admiring some seriously beautiful history on wheels. 😍 As makers, we always walk away from these shows feeling inspired. Looking at these classic beauties through a design lens, it’s impossible not to appreciate the satisfying curves, the sweeping lines, and the bold, intentional shapes. The effortless craftsmanship of these vintage rides always has a way of sparking fresh ideas for our own builds back in the workshop. ✍️ Huge thanks to everyone who organized the event and brought out their pride and joy last night. He looks at me... and I realize I should probably put down the paintbrush 🫣 Losing staring contests with a rocking horse for a couple of days now and painting eyes is now officially one of my biggest fears. (Why does there have to be two? 👀) Working on this special rocking horse for a lovely gentleman, but those eyes had a mind of their own. Painting symmetrical, non-existential-crisis-inducing eyes? Not a part of my repertoire. I ultimately decided to hand the reins over to Dereck and he's already swooped in to save the day (and the eyes) 🐴 His version looks a lot less...suspicious.
