how we got started

Stick To The Woods bloomed into existence through the inspiration of a broken charging port on Dereck’s phone.

After searching online, he was dissatisfied with the endless options of plastic wireless chargers out in the world.

Instead of diving into the plastic abyss, we were inspired to add some warmth and beauty into a product many people would use daily.

From a love of woodworking, a background in tech design, and having an appreciation for the aesthetics of the 1950s-1970s, we set out to build our perfect overnight device charger and bring a touch of nature to our tech.

After dozens of major design iterations and hundreds of hours of fiddling in CAD, we are very excited to share our little vision with everyone who’s looking for a similar solution for their phone or wireless charging devices.

our shop

We are currently operating out of a dedicated workshop in beautiful Dutton, ON.

We source our wood from a local sawmill, making use of smaller imperfect slabs and honing them into beautiful boards & unique, router-ready panels.

If you like what we do and would like to support our work, tips go towards keeping our woodshop going!
