The Book Fair & Crafters Market at Centennial Hall was a unique experience!
It was a lovely time meeting local authors and artisans all in one place, while also exploring their booths full of crafted goods. At our booth, we premiered a prototype of a product we’ve been working on and it was so cool to see the reactions firsthand.
Stay tuned for updates on ‘The Pager’! This was our last market until mid-April and we’re really excited to spend all of our time until then focusing on restock as well as research & development on some fun ideas.

The Life in Elgin Spring Expo was a hit!

Today was the West Elgin Business Hometown Showcase! We had a great time connecting with and supporting other businesses. We had a fantastic jambalaya lunch by Sandy from Made with Love Eatery, gathered some lovely cuticle oil by Sprigs & Co. and some adorable bunny earrings for the upcoming season by Stamped By Jess.

We spent the day at Covent Garden Market in the upstairs mezzanine - what a beautiful, bright space! The Mom Market’s ‘Lovin’ Local’ event was full of unique, handmade products from 20 curated vendors.
Our giveaway has closed and we’ll be drawing the winner on the official Love Day! (14th)

We enjoyed the lovely Love + Local Market hosted by @elevenelevenevents today. Thank you so much for coming to join us in the sunny atrium! We loved meeting new folks and finding lots of familiar faces in the crowds.
We are continuing our giveaway entries at our next event: Lovin’ Local @ The Covent Garden Market hosted by @TheMomMarket_London on February 9th. Find us in the upstairs mezzanine from 11am-4pm!
The draw will take place on Valentine’s day!

Feeling refreshed after our holiday break and we're back in production! We're so grateful for your support this past year as our first official year in business. You emptied our entire stock this Christmas! ❤️
We're creating new Landing Pads in the shop while sketching out a brand new design that we've had in mind for quite some time now.

We had a lovely visit to Leo’s Tree Farm!
Drinking hot chocolate, chestnuts roasting on the fire, and watching water buffalo in the distance. We took a walk through the farm admiring all of the trees & found our favourite!

Our sliding boxes finally have a name!
We hosted a contest at Geeky Gifts Holiday Market where attendees submitted name suggestions for our wooden sliding boxes. After the event, we shared our top 4 names that we loved and let Instagram vote for the official name.
The winning name: The Hex-pansion Box!
The creator of the name has received their own sliding box and we pulled a name in a draw for all the names that voted on Instagram to win a $50 shop gift card.

From receiving the gift of potato from Gandolf, sitting on a Terrifying Santa’s lap, to watching Krampus deliver coal to naughty children, Geeky Gifts was an awesome day!
We hosted a contest where attendees submitted name suggestions for our wooden sliding boxes. Tomorrow, we will share our Top 4 names that we love, and we’ll need your help to vote on your favourite!

Two events in one day! Dereck & our good friend Jeff took on the Horton Christmas Market and had a beautiful festive day with over 100 talented vendors, seasonal treats, photos with the Claus’, firepits to stay warm and even roasted chestnuts!
Tara & her mother Shelley attended the Eagle Shores Artisan Show and had a lovely day meeting other local woodworkers, exploring the fine selection of local goods, exchanging passion for fungi with attendees, and caught the Grinch shopping for gifts!

We’ve been working hard unpacking and organizing. We’re almost fully set up in the new workshop and we’re eager to get back to production!
In between the mayhem and mess of moving, we found ourselves underneath the Aurora Borealis again. This time with Nova!

The always vigilant head of security, Captain Nova, explores the grounds of our new workshop for the first time. While making her rounds, she took a little time to pose by the sign wall.
We are currently moving home and shop - so expect to see more from us soon!

What a weekend! Pearl and her 'gator Theda were exhibiting our wooden phone chargers at @londoncomiccon and had a killer time 🪓
Aside from meeting so many kind folks, we had the honour of being found in the wild by @bearsailormoon and being asked to take *our* photo, managed to witness a few @rockmsakura splits, met Anxiety Rex from @adhdinos, Tara found many fellow BG3 lovers, and Dereck was a trooper to dress as an alligator in a hot convention 🐊
The best part was definitely admiring all of the amazing cosplays walking by our booth!

Our new packaging for ‘The Landing Pad’ has arrived and we’re into it!
All new Landing Pad orders and purchases made at markets will come in these new custom printed boxes we designed. It makes gift giving a whole lot easier when you don’t have to explain “What’s in the box???”

We’ve restocked at Pure Soap Studio in West Lorne (ON)!
Last month, we began to offer our Landing Pads at Suzanne’s shop with a local deal.
If you’re in the area and have never been inside the shop, we hope you’ll check it out!
We restock the shop often and there’s now a Landing Pad by the checkout that you can set your phone on and try out the charger for yourself.

Our third time at the Horton Farmers Market!
It was a warm and breezy Wednesday.
We grabbed some lovely ciders from Great Lakes Farms and some beautiful mixed greens from Our Fields to accompany our dinner.

The morning was full of meeting great people and finding beautiful, fresh produce in between the rushes of the crowds.
These pink oyster mushrooms are from Tara’s favourite gourmet mushroom supplier, Marx Mushrooms.
The rest of the produce is from Dawson Lane Farms!

On our drive home from the Horton Farmer’s Market, Dereck snapped this shot of a beautiful ‘54 Caddy driving through Rodney at sunset.
We visited the annual Rodney Cruise-In two days later and found the same beauty parked downtown.
Many local businesses sponsor this event and we’re looking forward to sponsoring next year!

We had a great first experience at Horton Farmer’s Market in St. Thomas!
We are excited to be a part of their pilot project of hosting a Wednesday evening market every week until the end of August.

We brought a selection of them to our last market for a soft introduction.

We set up shop in the middle of Miller Park, West Lorne for an event in support of Lupus research!
Adult soccer games fundraising for the cause, activities for kids, food trucks and many vendors to explore.
It was a beautiful day for a great cause, and we loved connecting with other local businesses throughout the day!

We had an excellent time at the London Spring Craft Show at the Western Fair Agriplex! The attendance was overwhelming.
Our security staff Nova couldn’t come, but she was stoked that we picked her up a souvenir.

We’ve been busy in the shop crafting these sliding boxes!
We’re calling the design The “Nice Tri” box as they require a nimble touch in the right places to open.
It’s a lot of fun to show people at markets and see how they open them after a quick demo!
