With a love for embroidery, woodworking, & exploring nature, I’ve created a space where my enthusiasms can intertwine.

My name is Tara & I’m the co-founder of Stick To The Woods with my partner Dereck. I’m the “woodshop sous-chef” with a focus on details - from assisting in design, planing boards, and soldering our electronics, to final touches like sanding/waxing.

Outside of the shop, I love exploring local forests as an amateur mycology enthusiast studying mushrooms. After self-teaching for a few years, I completed a course at Victoria University & found myself falling even deeper into the mycelium network.
